Attractive price reductions when certain order volumes in Euros (calculated without VAT) per calendar month (date of completing the translation counts), i. e. the quantity up to a lower threshold value is calculated according to the higher price, anything above that threshold, to a lower price, etc.

This of course provided that there is still free capacity left, which means, those who place orders first, will automatically receive the largest price reduction.

• Typewriting/200 strokes per minute, phonotyping/150 strokes per minute;
• Selfmade and worked out patent applications "Extendable table top" and "Device for preventing motor vehicles driving in the wrong direction up a road";
• Further own technical developments (e. g. foldable parabolic solar cooker) and strong technical interest;
• Self-obtained knowledge in website construction and design;
• Teamwork within the new Swiss project OpenInnovation (http://www.openinnovation.ch/cat/home/) since the beginning of 2008, where I won a price for a proposal for technical innovation already with the first participation.

Experience

• October 1990 to February 1994; Koenig & Bauer AG, Würzburg, Germany (http://www.kba-print.de). Dealing with printing presses manufacturer, translations of patent files, licence agreements, general office work.

• 1996 to 2000; ICI University, German branch; Irving, TX, USA (today Global University) http://www.globaluniversity.edu/. I was dealing with the translation of general language texts as well as multi lingual correspondence.

• October 1997 until present; Steinigke Showtechnic GmbH (http://www.steinigke.de) in Waldbüttelbrunn near Würzburg, one of Europes biggest suppliers for show technology, I am spending my time mainly focused on translations German-English/French, where I am working on a freelance base, supporting the team with information regarding to the up keeping of the dBase product database of the Company.

• 1998 until present; Law Office Lorenz & Gordon (now Lorenz & Kollegen, http://www.lorenz-kollegen.com), Heidenheim, Germany. I am working as a freelance translator in the area of Intellectual Property Law.

Current position

Freelance translator for patents and mechanical engineering, freelance activity since February 1994.

Spending time with my children, go walking and mountaineering. Developing new markets especially in the high altitude Himalaya regions with the job perspectives of a premium company with premium products for the local people: promoting the German Fitline products (http://www.safer-altitude-trekking.de) with Activize Oxyplus, a world novelty also allowed for the Olympic Games, which has been proven to increase the oxygen transport up to 30% in the body within minutes, which I tested for myself unacclimatized at an altitude of 4500 m in the Alps.

I am also interested in Art, especially drawing and painting as well as glass engraving.
